Context

The product leadership team at PitchBook had identified news on the platform as a strategic priority for 2024.

Problem

Editorial content was only available on the public marketing site, disconnected from the core product experience our customers were paying for. This separation reduced content visibility and ROI, and missed a key opportunity to deepen user engagement within the platform — especially since PitchBook’s proprietary data is embedded in the articles themselves.

Impact

This work resulted in a fully integrated news experience within the platform, increasing content visibility. It also prompted the Editorial team to scale their publishing strategy, aligning it more closely with user needs and product goals.
