Designer
The main feature of the Intelage platform is a way for users to trade agricultural commodities. The startups leadership team saw an opportunity to improve the current experience and build out more features in preparation for demoing the product in front of investors.
Working in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity
While my main task when I joined was improving the offer creation form, I also worked on fleshing out the bid, request, and product creation flows. Beyond product work, I helped craft investor pitch decks and marketing materials. Throughout this process, I collaborated closely with the PM, engineering lead, and CEO to make sure there was an aligned direction. The most challenging part of this experience was building features that matched customer expectations as there was limited time to run extensive customer research.
Post release of the MVP, the company closed on a round of funding
Shortly after the MVP was shipped the company raised $3.5M in funding.
I worked on a series of forms that organize necessary inputs to conduct the buying and selling of commodities.
